I spent several weeks playing around with different sounds and samples before I came up with the idea to make a concept album. Love Alone came from a place of self-discovery and follows a fictional relationship from start to finish. You can hear the flirting and infatuation in songs like "Crazy About You." Listening to "Addicted To You" and "I Can't Stop" you can feel the anticipation of the separation. By "Fight No More" it's self explanatory that things are not what they once were. When you reach "Favorite One" and "I Can't Trust" you see the internal struggle of dealing with the end of something beautiful while tackling the five stages of grief leading up to the healing and release that is "Moving On."
