I more or less live in Nashville now when I'm not on the road and one of my favorite things to do is to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame to see the rotating exhibits. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and drop in one day! What many people don't know is that I am actually a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame Troubadour program. The program was designed specifically for music industry professionals age 21-45. If your interested in joining, reach out to me and I'll give you the details! You'll get access to quarterly networking events for young professionals, invites to exclusive after-hours events like “Nightfall at the Hall,” year-round access to Museum galleries and programs, pre-sale opportunities, retail and dining discounts, and more—all while directly supporting the Museum’s Community Counts initiative which provides free admission for youth in Davidson and bordering counties. It's a pretty cool program! Anyway, this past month, the program hosted one of it's quarterly events with Hailey Whitters (ACM New Artist of The Year 2023) performing and while attending I got the pleasure of getting to know Emily Ann Roberts. Emily JUST came off of tour with Blake Shelton! She was a contestant on The Voice, as a member of team Blake, and she became a finalist on season 9. Songs she performed on the show charted on the Billboard charts, where three songs were on the Hot Country Songs and one placed on the Hot Christian Songschart. After the show, she finished school before focusing on her music career. In 2018 she released her first single "Stuck on Me and You," which charted in the top 40 on iTunes. On May 14, 2019 Emily Ann returned to The Voice stage to perform her newest single "Someday Dream". In June 2019 she signed to Starstruck Records then released her debut album, "Can't Hide Country," on September 22, 2023. Since then, she has been writing with Nashville's most prolific and sought-after songwriters while touring and playing shows across the U.S.! Fun Fact, Emily has played the Grand Ole Opry Stage 17 times!
