I spent a lot of my teenage years floating the Buffalo River from Crazy Horse Recreational Park so when they reached out to see if I would be the first ever DJ to play their Memorial Day event, I said yes without any hesitation! If you like canoeing/kayaking, they have day rentals and shuttle service for both an 8 mile and 16 mile float along the Buffalo River in Waynesboro, TN. If overnight is more your style, they have a 16 mile two day float. Both the 8 mile and 16 mile floats feature bluffs, great swimming areas, and even a few caves you can explore! (The caves are not marked so you will need to ask around to find the locations.) When you finish your float, they have on site camping areas as well as 9 cabins available for rent. (Two night minimum rentals on the weekend.) If you don't want a full cabin, they also offer 9 rooms at their lodge. (Be sure to call and reserve the indoor spaces early as they sell out fast!)
